Kids’ Activities in Sahuarita and Surrounding Areas 

Toddlers – socializing activities can be found through Los Ninos Del Valle, Shepherd’s Fold Childcare, play groups and casual gatherings. Sahuarita School District offers a limited enrollment preschool program for children in the year prior to entering kindergarden. Pima County Parks & Recreation and Sahuarita Parks & Recreation offer a variety of parent/child activity/motion classes for children – refer to Pima County Parks and Recreation.

Elementary - Boy Scouts & Girl Scout Programs - sports fall Football & cheering, AYSO Soccer , karate, tae kwon do, bowling, little league baseball & softball, league swimming, Continental Ballet with ballet, tap, jazz - in addition to activities offered through school…. Numerous special interest programs are also offered to home owners in rancho Sahuarita through Rancho Sahuarita homeowner's recreation center. Middle School & High School - many of the activities offered to elementary aged children are extended to the older young adults - often at a more competitive level. Sahuarita Schools have competitive teams in volleyball, football, basketball (boys and girls), track and other school sports. Other programs offered through the school and community include auto mechanics and racing, woodworking, skateboarding, rodeo and other special interest programs.
